Pretty in Pink

I just got my new lappy, I’m installing my softwares – hoping Vista won’t have some kind of fit. Just installed Photoshop CS3 for the first time too, looks interesting :D Need to sort out my Dreamweaver plugins and such. Just installing The Sims 2 – going to take forever considering all the expacks and such. Yawn.

For you technical people, I got an Inspiron 1520 – in pink.  I’m not sure on the processor as I haven’t heard great things about Core Duo, but we shall see. It’s got 2 gigs of RAM, a not too shabby graphics card, and is just generally miles better than my PC. I’m still keeping the good old desktop though, it has two hard drives, will work nicely as a base. I’ve wanted a laptop for a while – probably would have made more sense when I was travelling as much as I used to haha, but thought I’d invest now while I have the chance.

I have a few little niggles about  the casing and such, but nothing major.

One nice thing is that it integrates with my phone nicely – no need for the USB cable – I really like this, I don’t know why. Makes it super easy to update my MP3 player on there though. The small things eh? :D Has a smart memory card slot for my cameras too.

I’ll post some pictures eventually.

I also plan to get on with reskinning the bloggle over exmas, so look forward to that!

My Hair – Four Year Extraveganza!

In the four years I’ve been dying my hair, I’ve had it a huge variety of colours and styles. Because I was curious to see the change, I put together an album on facebook of most of the colours that I’ve had it. Check it out if you’re curious!

The latest colour is pink. Half of it’s pink and half of it’s black… :D

Licence to Pink

I passed my driving test just over a week ago, and my licence showed up today. Admittedly, I’m excited, but only mostly because it’s pink.

This is also my excuse to go out and buy a bottle of Bailey’s mint chocolate. Which by the way is cheapest at Tesco, beating Asda by about £4 (so long as the internet prices aren’t lying…)

ETA: The internet was not lying – Tesco’s have the new Bailey’s flavours on offer. Yay for almost cheap alcohol.

ETA2: Mint choc Bailey’s isn’t as amazing as expected, but still damn good.

And, if Wiki is telling the truth, someone made real tomacco!
